Why are AdironRocks so Special?

Allow your mind to wander with me momentarily. We are headed towards the point where fact meets possibility and with that an infinite number of outcomes come forth.
Long ago the earth was going through changes. Great tectonic shifts, melts, and many other factors were making our planet much more malleable. In effort to keep this reading digestible and interesting we are doing our best to keep this as simple as possible.
To start, let us make our way back to the earth's transformation. Unlike other mountains, the Adirondacks are in the shape of a dome rather than linear. (C1) To this day, scientists are not entirely certain as to what caused the great uplift of the Adirondack Mountains. Many researchers and brilliant minds have several possible theories that are helping us get closer to these answers but until then, take a moment and appreciate that there is still mystery in the world and with mystery we unlock the pure potential of possibility.
In addition to the unusual Adirondacks mysterious formation and domal layout these mountains are in fact actually always growing and continue to do so to this day. Perhaps it is not at a visually appreciable rate, but it is fascinating to think on. For us it feels as if the earth beneath our feet suddenly feels impossibly more alive. It is almost as if the earth is taking in an expansive breath and exhaling untapped energies.
It is said that the rocks that are involved in the creation of the Adirondacks went through great collisions and movements almost a BILLION years ago. It wouldn't be until an estimated 20 million years ago that the uplifting of the Adirondacks would officially begin. Throughout this course of time the mountains eroded and revealed very ancient rocks from a time period that unlike other places around the globe requires machinary to uncover. (C2)
If we take the mysterious origin story of these unusual mountains and start to take a closer look at what has been created and exposed as a result, we can find some pretty remarkable things. For our story we will start with silo-carbonate pegmatites. Many crystals today are silica derived from the conception of their creation. We could talk for days about this but for now, we will continue to keep it simple. Through a unique collaboration of geological shifts mixed with natural events, and a nice helping of time, this momentum leads to an array of beautiful crystals types and meta sedimentary rock formations in certain areas. Silicon Dioxide, is amongst a major component of crystal origin. (C3)
Let's stop and think about all the things Silicon can do.
It's a semiconductor, plants use it as a resource for strength, and it is used in technology expansion in chips and quantum computers. (C4)
Perhaps, more importantly, if we step back to the much earlier civilizations of man we are provided both evidence and theology supporting both its importance and early recognition. In fact, this recognition can be found in many separate areas around the globe throughout its first appearance all the way to the present day.
As far back as 7000 B.C.E Egyptians used quartz by placing them on the forehead of their dead. It was believed that they would help their deceased with their next journey into the afterlife. The ancient Japanese used crystals for psychic practices by gazing into crystals with translucency. It was thought you could see future events by doing this. Additionally, Tibetan Buddhist would also utilize them in many practices. They had a particular appreciation for quartz to calm the mind along with Shamans who used quartz during their ritualistic ceremonies. (C5) In fact, the well known Plato tells us in his tales of Atlantis that the Atlanteans used crystals for telepathic communication.
We should also go back to view some scientific aspects and make mention of a few wondrous facts about some crystals.
Did you know the core of the earth is primarily nickel and iron? If we read deeper today we will find that scientists also have discovered that 10% of the core is made up of light alloys like Silicon! Through scientific studies, it is being proposed that not only is that 10 percent a combination which contains silicon but that through the crystallization at the core, we would now have an avenue to pursue for concerns pertaining to the earth's core and its cooling rate. Scientists hope that there could be a possibility of finding a way to utilize this crystallization to help power the earth's magnetic fields when the time comes that our core's abilities are too compromised. Now that is impressive! (C6) If that does not prove how incredible crystals are here are some additional notable attributes to close out with.
Quartz, through a fascinating process called triboluminescence, produce what is referred to as cold energy. Once again we have ANOTHER process that is not entirely understood. If you take two quartz crystals and hit them together in a dark room a flash of light can be produced. It has been proposed that perhaps, the energy from the impact or friction of the crystals, could create this. It should be noted, however, that no heat is emitted or produced during this and as such led to the term cold energy. Alternatively, it has also been said that the impacts excite the electrons and when they stabilize again they emit this flash.
Nikola Tesla, a brilliant and somewhat erratic mind in the 1800s said,
“In a crystal is the pure evidence of the existence of a formative life principle, and though we cannot understand the life of a crystal it is nonetheless a living being.”
A brilliant mind, unafraid of what others might think, was able to focus on pure scientific pursuit without the limitations of fact. It was through his assessment of both science and the metaphysical potential, that he was able to discover remarkable advancements for us today.
If brilliant minds and civilizations throughout history, in combination with the forces of our very planet, see the appreciation of these crystals, it would be foolish of us to not momentarily consider that the greatest potential of these are yet to come.
That here, at AdironRocks, we bring you access to these incredible crystals that from a scientific standpoint are both fundamental to the driving forces for our existence and throughout time continued to be recognized as remarkable.
Here at AdironRocks we are hand collecting each piece from a very unique and mysterious mountain formation that continues to unveil ancient pieces of history. This mysterious locality a pinpoint to an ancient doorway that perhaps, is more accessible then we ever could have imagined.
Purpose, passion, and pursuit are our driving forces here but possibility, that is where you come in. Together, with your help, we believe that by providing access to these raw crystals we will continue the trend of history and help unlock the unknown potentials of the beautiful and mysterious Adirondack Crystals!
